Welcome to Studentfilms.com, the online film discussion forum for filmmakers and students who are applying to film school, attending film school, need advice on making films, or just want to share their films with the world.
I came across this site, pabootcamp.com and was wondering if anyone here has tried it out. I recently moved to LA and was looking up jobs, and found them advertising on craigslist, where they wrote:
"PA BOOTCAMP teaches everything you need to know to get an entry level job in film production. Taught by working PAs and AD's in a Los Angeles area park, our two-day program thoroughly prepares you for work as a Production Assistant on set or in the office. Our program covers radio/walkie use, function and terminology; all production paperwork; set "do's" and "don'ts": how each department functions and interacts; specifics of the AD team; PA responsibilities and behavior; how to find work; and much more. Check us out at www.pabootcamp.com"
Anyway, if you tried it, please tell me your experience.
Thanks
