Dream Sequence Advice

Hi, I am looking for advice from people who have experience with both stop motion and/or the creation of actually-creepy-on-a-low-budget nightmare/dream sequences. The scene is basically a dude getting terrorized by oranges.

If you have any experience or ideas that are constructive please contact me. I'm a grad student at USC and want to collaborate!

Thanks so much,
Katie

Have you thought about shooting it backwards? You could then turn it inside out, during the editing process, to get it to play as it should. It gives all movements a certain awkwardness that makes everything very dreamlike and uncanny. Bunuel used this technique for Los Olvidados and Cocteau for Orphee.
