But that 0.000000000000000000000000000000000001 is gonna keep me up all night tonight.

Anyway I'd remake Tony Scott's recent "Domino." I'd keep the same cast, and the same basic script. I'd rework Mickey Rourke's character to be less like dog the bounty hunter but other that that I'd keep the same script. I just hated how it was shot and edited. The whole movie was just so... ugly.

Ninja turtles baby, the first one, and only one that should have been made in my opinion. Although I know another one is coming out but i think it's going to be pants.

Completely new plot, which i still want to make so i'm not sharing it Big Grin

Fantastic Four
Set in the 60's with the mole men

Wizard of Oz (a million times ahead of the rest, a big dream project for me!!)
Based off the book series, not the musical.

A Nightmare on Elm Street
Less jokey and more surreal

Audition
Purely as an american trailer to get people to watch the amazing original

Friday the 13th
Just for fun (more of a sequel than a remake)

Peter Pan
Probably my second big dream project. I have a lot of stuff written down for when i get the money.

don’t agree with all the films but you're right about AvP, crap film, when you think about the amount films between the two and the amount of 18 certs between them and then they go and make that, I wasn’t too fussed, not a huge fan of either aliens or predator films but i nearly walked out and headed to get my money back.

there’s a few really bad films, but then there’s films were they had a good budget and a good basis for a storyline with no excuse to make a piss poor film but AvP is a good example of this, same with Doom, not a great fan of the games or anything but I did go to watch the film in cinema knowing what the game makers storyline was, and I did expect there to be changes so that it made sense, but it was totally crap, it had so much potential.

Latest Production
"COLD" bnd final major project

You have to remove the blasphemy element when you have a discussion like this because frankly I don't think I could ever get my OZ thing off the ground. But one can dream.

But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

If The Wizard of Oz were done well, and not as a stupid disney-style film, it could be phenomenally good. It's ingrained in our culture, so virtually everybody would love it if it were well made. And yes, as long as it's not a remake of the musical, it's not treading on sacred territory.

Wizard of Oz is a nice choice and Alice In Wonderland too.
Its nice when you get kids storys and give them a adult theme.
Like neil jordan´s company of wolves.

I am in general against remakes and consider them as ticket-sellers trying to take advantage of the brand, which someone has already built.

The director who takes a challenge to remake some film easilly begins to compete with his fellow director in the past. Competition is to me wrong motive to remake some film.
"Giving an another life" or "a second chance" to the personally satisfactional story sounds a good reason.

Citizen Kane, but without question after making a few films. I can admit it relates somewhat to my own life and I think I could add something to it, although without a doubt it will make people angry. The biggest failure in a remake is when a director tries too hard not to offend the current fans and limits himself in the process.

Other than that? Butterfly Effect. Great premise. It could've been so much better.

I would make the newer Star Wars more like the original. Give it that feel instead of the crap they did.

I'd also make Donnie Darko 2...it wouldn't be good or anything, but I'd just like to do it haha.
