HORROR
Deliverence. Ever since I first saw this movie I always found it creepy...and everytime I go camping outdoors I always am scared thinking some mountain men are watching me. Great movie. After Deliverence I'd have to say my second favorite is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

WAR
All Quiet on the Western Front (Original & Remake) I loved this war movie, both the original and remake...both are done well and each has it's differences.

ROMANCE
Annie Hall. Funny, witty, and just plain fun to watch. Wonderfull dialogue & characters.

SCIENCE-FICTION
A Clockwork Orange; great characters and dialogue. It's so great because the dialogue. It's a movie set in the future...the way teenagers talk now will of course be different in fifty years...that's what's so cool about the film. The dialogue is a futuristic slang for the future. The original Star Wars also.

BASED ON BOOK
Jackie Brown. Great adaption. Follows the book enough and makes it even better. One of the only times you'll see Robert DeNiro as a comedic role; a stoner.

CRIME
Pulp Fiction of course. Greatest crime movie out there...plus the greatest cast out there; Samuel L. Jackson John Travolta, Bruce Willis...and what a better cast to read great dialogue. Scarface follows up right behind it...I love Scarface because it starts at the bottom of Tony's life when he's living in sh** and we follow him as he takes over the drug empire...then we see him make a mistake and die for it. True crime drama.

BUDDY COP
I really don't like these tpye of movies...they are full of every cliche. But if I had to choose I'd pick Beverly Hills Cops or the TV series "MIAMI VICE"

COMEDY
Pee Wee's Big Adventure. Holy sh**! One of my favorite movies right here. It's an adventure comedy with the main character Pee Wee. The part in the bar where he dances to "Tequila" is classic. My favorite part though is the crazy lady truck driver who's a ghoul or something.

WESTERN
Rio Bravo. Dean Martin is so cool in this movie. Ever since I first saw this movie I've always thought Dean Martin was the coolest character in this movie. Plus the character Stumpy is hillarious.

MUSICAL
Grease. Something about the nostalgic setting...I have always loved this movie. My favorite Pink Lady was always Rizzo. I always thought she was the coolest and hottest.

TARGETED TOWARDS CHILDREN
The Brave Little Toaster. I always loved this movie when I was little. It was fun to watch. Toy Story I & II are pobably the best children's movies out there.

ADVENTURE
Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Humphrey Bogart in this great film. I just think this is one of the best films made. Check it out if your a Bogart fan...it's like no other one of his films.

ACTION
Terminator II. I love the action sequences in this film...they are so stylized and cool. Everything about the film is just fun to watch. I also love all the Death Wish movies after the original...the three after the original just totaly go against the whole original story and are basically Charles Bronson starting gang wars for no apparent reason just for the fact he doesn't like criminals. Helloooo? Charlie...you are a criminal.

MADE JUST TO MAKE MONEY
I have no idea...I hate these type of movies. I can't even think of any.

FILM-NOIR
Key Largo. Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson in this great film that reminds me of a "Reservoir Dogs" type of movie because of the fact all these characters are stuck in a hotel together and all they do is argue. Great film.

FOREIGN
Life is Beautifull

DRAMA
Taxi Driver. The character development in this film is fantastic. Robert DeNiro truely deserved his Oscar. Plus Harvey Keitel as a white pimp...

Pretty in Pink & Sixteen Candles!!! OH MY GOD! I can't believe I forgot these two! These were like...the first two movies I can remember watching when I was little. My mom always watched this crap around the house when I was like seven...I've always remembered watching these when I was that age...I try & watch them whenever they are on TV...It's fun seeing how tacky people were back then.

Kyle, this movie is my fifth favorite movie of all time, which is saying alot cuz I watch a sh*tload of movies. Well anyway, its a prohibition-era gangster movie starring Gabriel Byrne, John Turturro, Marcia Gay Harden, Jon Polito and Albert Finney. It is written and directed by the Coen Brothers and it is simply astounding. I can't say enough good about this movie. I feel its better than the Godfather, but I know I'm a minority in that sense. I do love the Godfather, but this I feel surpasses it. The writing is beautiful (as the Coen brothers always deliver incredible dialogue). The cinematography and set designs and the general feel of the movie is astounding. I recommend everyone to watch it. It comes out on dvd May 20 and EVERYONE should buy it. I don't know of a single person who has watched this movie and didn't like it. I also think that John Turturro should have gotten an Oscar nomination for his role. To know more about it, look it up on imdb.com.

WATCH THIS MOVIE!

Noir in french means black...so it basically means a "Dark Film"

Like all those pulpy mystery films from the 40s...

a lot of people consider films like that Coen brothers film that came out last year with Billy Bob....I can't remember the name - it was in black and white- they call that a film noir

-Kyle "BIG" Johnson of TacoWagonProductions

Here's a film idea...a bunch of Hippies walk around painting stuff, they stop, eat lunch, then find a magical...CAMEL - which they eat to stay alive.
