Hello all,Could someone please tell me how to move an audio file that is on my audio track of Windows Movie Maker to Audacity so that I may work on it.It is too loud and therefore distorted.Thank you.Linda Michal

It doesn't seem as if one can export just audio in Movie Maker...

But if you go to timeline mode there is a icon to adjust audio levels, it might help but is rather limited (Movie Maker in general is limited)...

i guess i didn't understand. if you want to extract the audio off the video, then just drag your video to the audio track under the timeline in windows movie maker and save to your computer, and it will save your audio to wma.

if you want to trim a particular part of the audio, then just import your audio to windows movie maker, preview it and use the button under the slider in preview window to trim the audio.
