Lets settle this once and for all. Statistically.

What do you use for your serious computer projects?

(if you use both and prefer one vote as though you used only that one)

its funny to see mac essentially tied with windows when mac users make up about five percent of the computer using population. filmmakers know what's best Big Grin

forsaken. if you ever get into the post side of the industry it is more likely than not you will be using PC. Just look at avid's DNA series. All based off PC archetechture (yes i can spell... chris you should put spellcheck on these forums)

I cannot fathom why anyone would use a PC to edit, unless it were simply a "set in there ways/can't teach an old dog new tricks" attitude.

Mac & FCP. Reliable, Well-designed, and gives me plenty of freedom.

But the games! None of the good games make it to mac. We never even got Counterstrike... but ... yeah.

thats harsh . . .

every PC I have ever had crapped out in a year or two, but my macs have always lasted longer and remained competitive.

i think with PC's they give you tech thats behind so your forced to update, but I think apple sets you ahead so you get more life out of it. thats just my experience with them, i could be wrong.
