Coolest Character Ever?

Question:
Haven't had a good poll in a while, so I figured I'd get one going. Who is the coolest film/TV character ever? Obviously I couldn't list a lot so I just put down a few. Feel free to add your own. And by cool I mean someone who is just totally cool. You know what I mean, just answer the freaking question.

Choices:
James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause
Harry Callaghan in Dirty Harry
The Fonz in Happy Days
Steve McQueen in The Great Escape
Marlon Brando in On The Waterfront

Good question. You couldn't list them all or you have 500 names on the list!

From your list I chose Dirty Harry, but all are pretty good choices. I'll have to think about some others. Off to work now. Frown

-John McLane
-El Mariachi
-Marv from Sin City
-Angel Eyes (Good Bad Ugly)
-Frank (Once Upon a Time in the West)
-Harmonica (OUTW)
-COOL HAND LUKE (I MEAN, REALLY!)
-Neil (from Heat)
-Vincent (from Heat)
-Snake Plissken

I think it narrows down to these final four: Cool Hand Luke, Snake Plissken, Dirty Harry, The Man with No Name.

You have to pick one.

Hmm. I'll show my age.

Most any Cary Grant character.
Most all of the DIRTY DOZEN characters, expecially John Cassavettes "No. 11".
COOL HAND LUKE was a great choice.
Henry Gondorff (THE STING)
Butch Cassidy (Newman)
Mr. White (THAT THING YOU DO)
Billy Elliot (movie of same name)
Randall McMurphy (CUCKOO'S NEST)
"Commander" Shears (William Holden - BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI)
Jack Vincennes (LA CONFIDENTIAL)
Inigo Montoya (PRINCESS BRIDE)
Almost any Marx Brother's Character

I'm sure I can think of many others later!

His name's Snake. I think Fat Tony's quite cool though. Mafia characters are often portrayed as cool.

That was partly a joke, cause I wanted to see if anyone knew what I was talking about Big Grin And partly true, cause she's so weird.
