Today's production went well for my new film "Phobia", until that is, the evening scene came. Some unexpected rain came, and my camera was damaged. Has this happened to anyone before? What should i do?!?!?!?!?!

I've had the moisture light come on before. What I did was turn off the camera imediately, disconnect all the power (including the time battery) a left it in a 80 degree room for 48 hours strait without touching it. Then I put the batt in an pressed the master reset button. Overkill? Maybe. Did the camera work again? Yep.

i like jorens method, HOWEVER...
it will take TWICE as long to dry if the insides arent open to dry...

(this may or may not be as vital depending on how much water the camera was exposed to.)

you're chances of a ****ed up camera are increased if the moisture remains inside the camera...

SO, open the tape bay/drive before you remove the battery, and then just do as joren says...

with some of the cameras interior exposed, your chances of working equipment are even higher...
