| 16:9 Anamorphic Lens for GL2

I was recently told by a friend that century optics makes a 16:9 anamorphic widescreen adapter for 58mm thread. My question is from what I read the price is around 1500 american. Does that sound right? Has anyone used this lens? Input would be great thanks.
