I'm been filming som videos that will be ultimately compressed and published on the Web, but still need to be good quality. I've been using a HF S100 camera. I've been considering getting a XH A1S. I'm starting to have space issues archiving video so the Mini DV tapes are appealing.

I have a Rode directional mic already that seems to get decent sound. For Web quality movies would there be any other benefits in upgrading?
