| Hmmm very odd. Yes I shoot with cine-like gamma on and that really should not effect the "blur". Might I ask if you have the dvx100 or dvx100a? I know the 100a has some slow shutter speeds the first does not. As for me depending on what im doing I might actually shut off the shutter. In lower light you can set it at 1-24 which lets in a bit more light but gives a wierd trailing effect that screams "video". Ideal depends on what you want to do. You can always crank up the shutter a tad to limit light coming in (BTW you can set it all the way to 1-1000 which gives a very cool "Saving Private Ryan/Gladiator" 45o lens effect.Especially when zooming in and out) If you have'nt already you can always try www.dvxuser.com They are pretty knowledgeable over there and should be able to help you out.
