is there any way to interchange lenses with a GL2. maybe an adapter to convert the threading?

I have a GL2 myself, the only option I know of is the ad-on lenses you screw in front. However, I also have heard of people selling systems to attach 35mm film lenses with an adapter by canabalising the camera first... also pretty $$$.
I think I saw it on the dvxuser.com forum.

I'm producing and selling my 35mm adapter for $200, but you should shop around and consider your needs first. There are a lot of designs out there. I've posted some example footage in that thread.

You should also check out http://www.adapterplace.com and http://www.guerilla35.com for other homemade 35mm adapters.
