-I`m at work right now and I don`t know how to work some of the keys on this board (French) so bare with me...

Has anybody ever shot anything, captured to imovie on an apple and cut a short film (Direct cuts, no dissolves.. nothing) and then spit it back out to minidv tape, then re-captured to a pc (More specificly premiere pro) to capture.

The problem I`m having, is that I`d like to add some effects to the footage I cut together with after effects but I`ve noticed that footage captured with premiere has all of a sudden gained an exaggerated look of interlaced lines!

What`s happening. My raw footage un-cut looks fine, but the cut footage from the apple looks terrible! Any input...

hmm, if you're just spitting it back out to DV, then I doubt it's generation loss, but thats a possibility.

have you watched it on a TV? sometimes on a computer screen, footage looks really interlaced, but once its on a TV it looks great.

It could also be a field issue. Can you post a picture?

Here's the problem I'm getting! I've never seen these problems before now. (And no, I have not checked to see if it looks alright on tv)
The interlacing is even more evident during motion. IDEAS?

I'm betting that the field order got switched around at some point. I can't imagine where though.

I actually like that look. The digital lines. It's kinda rough and raw. Call me a rebel.
