| I've handled both. They're all well-built cameras, just about the same. If I were the nitpick the DVX100 is probably a bit sturdier, but I had my GL2 for a year and it held up to everything I threw at it. | | | |

| My friend dropped a Panasonic DVX100a from about 2 feet onto a carpeted surface, and it was in the shop for months (partially because of warantee disputes, but still...) On the flip side, I've banged the XL-2 into more than a few doors and haven't had a problem.
