I was thinking about buying this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3802426363&category=30079
chroma green screen.

It is 11' by 10', and will be going in my basement.

I want to know how to hang it up. I don't want anyting permanent. I cant think of any way that wouldn permanently damage a wall.

Please reply with some answers.

Thanks Brian

You know, you could just buy a green bedsheet or something and save yourself 85 bucks...plus, there's no possibility of damage.

YEAH man,
I actually think its funny when people shell out hundreds on chroma fabric, when I ran to wally world, got about 6 yards of AWESOME, perfectly chroma worthy material, for 6 buxx. yep. a buck a yard... you can buy about 25 yards, and be set.
The reason its so cheap? BECAUSE ITS AN UGLY ASS GREEN COLOR! So they sell it cheap, because they know, that nobody will buy it.

Save yourself some money,
and just go buy some fabric.

I donno, there is something to be said for having a true green screen. But never mind that. That wasn't your question. You were asking how to temporarily hang a green screen. There are dozens of ways. If you're basement isn't finished (with sheet rock), you could clamp the screen to the joices with a few grip or c-clamps. You could also use a pipe clamp in an opposable configuration and have it press against two opposing walls (using wood blocks to prevent damage to the wall). You could also just use some gaffers tape and tape it to the wall.

Hanging a chroma wall is easy. Lighting one is the hard part.
all the best
