Hi everyone, Iâ™m kind of new to the forum but would like to ask a couple questions if you donâ™t mind. Any of your opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I hear a lot of talk about Canonâ™s line of 3-CCD cameras (XL1, GL1 and GL2 to be specific) and Sonyâ™s top models like the VX1000 and VX2000. Iâ™ve been saving and Iâ™m ready invest into a good quality 3-CCD MiniDV cam. I have been looking at the Sony TRV-900 (since the new TRV-950 came out the prices have fallen on the used market of the 900â™s). I currently have a Sony TRV-17 and have been very happy with Sonyâ™s performance and reliability. My question is do you think that the TRV-900 is a wise choice in comparison to Canonâ™s line of 3 chip cameras or Sonyâ™s higher models? I have been reading reviews on-line and it seems the TRV-900 fits my budget the best and is the best compromise between price and quality. Any thoughts on this decision would be great! Thanks a ton, Dwight

Dude get the 900. I have it. My friend has a Gl2 and we compare alot. Not much difference. The only people that can see the difference are those that will end up fixing cameras for a living cause they overlooked the actual story they were telling. You'll be so happy and it's a great deal trust me. I wish I could show some shots from my new film but I dont know how to post em on this forum or online. All I could say is trust me, you'll love it.
