What is the lighting technique where the light on the objects in the scene has a cool sort glow effect.

you're probably looking at backlighting to blow out or some sort of adjustment to the exposure level to create a level of glow as well as lighting position. can't really help you past that since i dont have gaffing experience... just stuff i've observed the gaffer do.
