What do you guys recommend in the field of shockmoints? I'm looking for something relativley inexpensive and will go with the DIY boom pole here.

I've seen people make them with two sizes of embroidery circle-clap-things where you connect them with rubber bands.

Rode Microphones make a shockmount that fits most shotgun mics visit: http://www.rode.com.au, much more inexpencive than rycote.
