Hey guys, I´ll be shooting my first full length feature in April next year. It´s gonna be in German so I figure it´d be difficult to compose music as a non German (screenplay in German as well). I want to give it a try nonetheless since I value music more than anything else, and therefore find somebody regardless of what language he speaks. Film is going to be a modern adaption of the play "Faust" by Goethe. Pretty slow, heavyly relying on long shots, quiet atmosphere, yeah you know what I mean. Budget´s small, so payment would be a lot less than you usually get, if any. Depends on whetehr or not german film council supports the project.
Music should be somewhat experimental going into direction of Trip Hop / Ambient (Portishead, Brian Eno etc.)
Actually I have a composer, but he´s in Australia right now and not coming back until May. Maybe he can work from there, but it´s no certain and I don´t want to be reliable on him. If you´re into that kind of stuff just dop me a message! I want to settle things until january so I can stop being a producer and start taking care of creative work =). Cheers
Max
