I just had a look at all the films Nicole Kidmans list of films since winning her oscar. Dogville, The Human Stain, Cold Mountain, The Stepford Wives, Birth, and of course that stupid commercial directed by Baz Lurhman. Thats a pretty crap list, in my opinion. Is it just me, or do you think she is just desperately trying (and failing) to win another Oscar?

have u seen the trailer for "Bewitched"? Looks like crap too. I think she's doing the same thing Halle Berry is doing, cashing in on her oscar as long as is possible before she goes back to the B roles where she belongs.

And whats this about her posing nude in the bathtub with like a 10 year old? seriously, is this what hollywood has become? Either A, hollywood is in desperate need of makeover by a future generation of filmmakers, or B, we scratch the wohle buisness all together.

Well, if you know the story of Birth that'll make more sense. It was trying to be creepy and risque at the same time. It sounded like it would've been a memorable creepy moment in cinema history, you know if the movie didn't appearently suck so bad.

She has got to the point where she can choose any role she wants. When you guys get out there and do some acting then complain-instead of hanging on here 24/7 bitching! Get a life!
Anyway, everyone starts out doing B flicks, you dont just walk into a A list hollywood movie, especially if you arent even from America.
Seriously though, maybe you HDK should get out more, get some acting lessons, make more shorts, walk in the park.....WHATEVER........instead of living in here. What a life!
I bet you live with your parents still, wait till mummy and daddy go to bed, then hang on the internet all night! Im sure you will be on Dr Phil soon as another obese american nerd who needs to get off his computer for 5 minutes a day. I know, maybe lose some weight, get off the computer and get a girlfriend. Im sure you chat lots up on the net.
NERD!

jeeze - HDK has a point. no need to attack him, just cause you disagree. and besides, the argument of "oh yeah, well lets see you do better" is so lame.

I don't feel that what I said was necessarily unfair about Nicole Kidman, in fact I think it's a common trend that alot of great actors have not been as driven and dedicated as they once were to acting. Look at Robert De Niro, once he was Vito Corleone, Travis Bickle, and Jake La Motta. Now he's reduced to doing another Fockers movie and something else with Dakota Fanning. Sure I think Kidman is a talented actress, but like alot of people it's become common to lose the drive to do great roles and they instead take big payoffs for commercials and endorsements or poorly written films instead of finding something to further their craft. I think we have alot more talent in the acting world now than ever before, yet I feel that the number of good films in a year has been greatly reduced, and most of the good ones from this past year starred up and comming actors or those who are looking to prove something. (ei, Jamie Foxx, Don Cheadle, Paul Giamatti). We even get stuck with ppl so desperate for an Oscar they turn to an easy supporting role to get one, or take the common "retard" role (that goddam Radio movie).

you know, its funny. He called HDK an American Nerd who needs to get off the computer, but . .. HDK's Canadian. Hmmmmm . . .

I'll admit, there's times when HDK and I don't get along. In fact I think we fight more then agree. But I'm not gonna' flame his opinion despite my disagreeance. (Ahh . . I remember those good old War in Iraq chats we used to have . . .)

And: I never liked Nicole Kidman in the first place. Somehting about her always sent my bad radar off. I think its her eyes. They look a little creepy. She also seems to do acting because it pays good, not because she likes it. I don't know, that's the way I perceive things.
While along these lines, I never liked Julia Roberts. She can act great, but her mouth makes me scared. I wonder if she can fit her whole fist in her mouth?

Why can’t we be friends (4x)

I seen ya, I seen ya, I seen ya ’round for a long long time
I really, I really, I really remember when you drank my wine

Why can’t we be friends (4x)

I seen ya, I seen ya, I seen ya walkin’ down in chinatown
I called ya, I called ya, I called but you did not look around
I pay my, I pay my, I pay my money to the welfare line
I seen ya, I seen ya, I seen ya standing in it everytime

Why can’t we be friends (4x)

The color, the color, the color of your skin don’t matter to me
As long as, as long as, long as we can live in harmony
I kinda, I kinda, I kinda, like to be the president
And I could, and I could, and I could show you how your money’s spent

Why can’t we be friends (4x)

Sometimes I don’t speak right
But did I know what I was talking about
I know you’re working for the cia
They wouldn’t have you in the mafia

Why can’t we be friends (4x)
(repeat to fade)

I hate that song . . . its kind of annoying. Is peace annoying? Because if its as annoying as that song, I don't want it.

I wonder if she can fit my whole **** in her mouth. But I dont think even that can shut her up. She sucks. I'm gonna get banned for that comment.

Nicole Kidman was only good in Eyes Wide Shut.

Maybe not banned, but just open to a small **** joke. And for the punchline: Yes, yes she can, and then some.
