What the f*** were the f****** producers thinking? Were they stoned outta their minds? No...because stoners have a sense of humor...this film will not. First off...Jeff Daniels and Jim Carey arn't in it...there's your first clue. Now what the f***?! Jim Carey is hillarious....he was great in Dumb & Dumber...now their gonna bring some f*** faced moron Carey impersonator to play his character in Highschool. This is a new level of f****** stupid. A wannabe Carey and a stupid plot.

Oh, and get this...the guy playing Harry (Jeff Daniels original role)...well this is his first movie. He's done nothing before this...not even a drug dealer on Miami Vice. This movie is gonna suck fat blue frozen balls off a field cow.

the only thing that i think is funny about this movie is the marketing for it. The ad in the LaTimes is great. It shows a evolution diagram (you know, with he monkey at the bottom, as it evolves to human, etc) Well it shows harry and loyd at the bottom, and then works its way through the monekys into man.

But the movie trailer was all it took to convince me to save my 8 bucks when this one comes to theatres.

When I saw the first trailer for it in theaters, I thought it looked hilarious. It was the one with the definition for the word dumb, then dumber, and then dumberer. I thought it looked awesome. And I could have sworn I saw Jim Carey in it.

But now that you are telling me HE ISN'T IN IT?! THAT IS MESSED UP! You can't just do that to a movie. It looks all...wrong! What are they thinking? I dunno....maybe Carey was all tied up with Bruce Almighty (which looks good), or he just didn't want to do it, or the stupid black suit executives said no to him being in it, but whatever the reason, they are making a HORRIBLE decision. AAAH!

Try this on for size as a reason to boycott Dumb and Dumberer...THE FARLEY BROTHERS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! No one from the original film has any say or had anything to do with it!! Thats just ****ing stupid!

If its a sequel there not ripping anything off, its just the way buisness works, making movies is about money, don't ever forget that. I agree that since the Farley brothers an crew won't be there that it will not have the essentials like the last one. But has anyone even seen the film yet or is it even out?

Its funny how everyone can bash it before its even released. I am not saying it will be great either... I am going to way till its released then bash it!!

The old "hey dude you're getting a dell" kid is going to play harry I believe. At least, that's what I heard months back when he was busted for a couple pounds of weed or something.

I think it looks pretty funny. I wanted to hate it, but the preview makes me giggle, especially the super short bus. The way jeff daniels counterpart looks kinda bugs me, but i think the jim carrey guy is doing a great job. I don't mind that the Farrelys arent involved, seeing as how i didnt like shallow hal or me myself and irene, not to mentio nteh new siamese twin thing their putting out. In short, i think it will be nowhere near as classic as the origional, but will still be a funny summer movie, better than most of the slapstick type comedies that will be released.

Carey and Daniels arent in it becauase they are too old. This is susposed to portray the earlier years, when they were in High School.

Nonetheless, its probably going to suck.

This movie is going to ruin the legacy that Dumb and Dumber has created. In no way will I even think about watching this piece, because D&D1 is one of my favorite comedies of all time. I weep for the future of sequels... wait, Reloaded and Revolutions are gonna rule, nevermind.

Some sequels work...like the Matrix....I think of it more of the next in series. Dumb & Dumber 2 is gonna be a sequel because it follows every sequel cliche:

1. A title that is somewhat clever and or witty refrencing the original title...i.e. 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS

2. Original actors not signing on for the project so new actors are brought in to replace the character or become a "similar" character...ie. Jum Carey & Daniels> Same character NEW actors. Or Vin Diesal not in 2 Fast 2 Furious

3. A Lame script to be made into a movie your paying 8 bucks to see...when all it's gonna do is suck fat cock. I fI wanted to pay something 8 bucks to suck fat cock I'd get a hooker....

4. Stupid commercials refrencing the original film. I'm sure we'll see commericals for Dumb & Dumber 2 that say stuff like: "If you thought they were dumb before...wait to see how dumb they were in HIGHSCHOOL!" Then a shot of the main character doing something "dumb" like mooning or shoving his face in a pie.

I am a big fan of the first Dumb and Dumber, but must admitt it doesn't look like a very good sequel. Prequel. Whatever.

You just can't have Dumb and Dumber without Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey. It just doesn't make sense.

And I love some of the stuff the Farrelly bro's have written so when i heard they werent doin it i thought this film would be even worse than I already thought that it would be. THen I read that Matt Stone and Trey Parker were going to write it. But now they've turned it down too.

I'll watch the film, but I know it'll be a dissapointed.

Honestly.

But hey, Jim's Dad is in. There's still hope.

Oh wait, I just read a reviewer has said the film is "painful, execrable, egregious, insipid, useless, and wretched. If the ridicule of cataclysmically unintelligent people is your bag, you'll love this movie."
