Who the hell is JP Saalfield? Well he's me and me, I mean I got some nominations in this year's iVIE awards. You can check out their site for info.

www.ivieawards.org

But also there's going to be a live webcast and i believe you can find that at:

www.sdcoe.tv

We'll see how it all goes down. I submitted two things and both were nominated including one of them getting a special achievement nomination. Who knows. It'll be a fun night regardless.

One of them is Just Breathe which is already on this site and the other is my latest, Beyond, which will be on June 13th.

Hope you guys can watch. It just goes to show you, be persistent and submit your work everywhere and things will happen. Take care.

Keep up the great work Chris.

I didn't like the one you have that has ten year olds acting like mob-lords. It made me laugh though, if that was what you were trying to do. I thought your MJ music video was incredible. I hate Michael Jackson and all his music, yet your video kept me interested the whole time. Congradulations on your awards and good luck in the future.

Hey, well you know, they're not for everyone. Although any advice or whatnot would be appreciated. You know it's funny when you have 2 friends over for a sleepover and they want to make a movie. You can't turn them down! And you have to come up with some idea and script and shoot it at 2 am in the morning. Thus, Mob Affair. No ending and kids playing adults. Suprised it turned out as well as it did. Been thinking of doing the sequel and figured a way of making it believe but probably won't better. My talent and time are better spent on new and innovative stories.

Hello!

I liked your films.
Especially the clips on your site for the films I can't see as a whole. RUnaway 3 looks great fun and Mission: Impossible (was it called that?) should be expanded to a full length movie. Sure, in the olden days the acting could've been better, but I feel you and your friends improved on that.

Anyway, be proud. I'm a long way from award nominations myself. A long way from a published film too, now I come to think of it.

Hope to see more of your work soon.

Sincerely,

Stijn Hommes

Yes, Mission Impossible and Runaway 3. Good stuff. Always fun to try new things. And if it doesn't turn out, it's always a nice thing to look back on and get a good laugh.

Hey JP,

It's cool about the nominations of the Ivie award thing (everyone should check out "Beyond" June 13th, it was a callaboration project we did, when I came out to California to visit him, came out pretty good). But yea, just making sure that I get some credit here, Wink are you only allowed to put one name, for the movies enter into the competition? Because if so, then your name is definently deserved to be there, you did most of the work, but anyway was just curious

BTW: I didn't copy you with the icons, i picked this out not realizing, that you already had it...

Creativity requires no effort..

Congratulations on the nominations. As I've stated before, I like your films and think you do a very good job with them.

I thought JUST BREATHE was real good, so I'll be interested to see how it does in a competition.

Good luck.

That's funny about the icon thing.

Yeah, the film "Beyond" that'll be up here in a few weeks was a collaboration between Zander and I. He came out to California for 5 days and we came up with the story, got people together and shot it in just a couple of days. He has a couple of films up on the site. Worth checking out.

Thanks Mark. I only submitted Just Breathe too because I thought that Beyond would be too long for their liking. But surprisingly they nominated both. Who would have known. I'll let you know how things go. Take care.
