Chapman had a showing of this about a month ago. I thought it was a very creative movie, especially the way they retooled it after Heath Ledger's death. The visuals are absolutely stunning. The story is far less than understandable watching it the first time around, but it's one of those things that I want to watch again to understand it better rather than something I would just turn off and forget about for the rest of my life.

Overall, I thought it was a really fun adventure.

Anyone else seen it?

Hey,

I actually saw this movie a while ago. And I thought it was editted very well around Ledger's death. I'm a big fan of Tom Waits and was overjoyed that he was cast as the Devil. Big Grin

I thought the movie was pretty understandable the first time around but my friend actually banned me from choosing all future movies because she just could NOT get her head wrapped around Parnassus >.<

The effects are stunning and it's a pretty good movie in my opinion but you wouldn't be missing much if you chose not to see it.

Terry Gilliam is a visual genius. Each of the other incarnations of Heath Ledger almost personified public opinion of the actors. Definitely worth a second viewing though...
