That looks pretty cool, it will definitely be one to see.
Did anyone else try going to the film's website? I just get this weird menu with 4 different "views" and they show these strange pictures that look like lava lamps. |

The DP is Matthew Libatique. Same guy who did Pi and Requiem and a bunch of other movies.

Apparently it got booed at the Venice Film Festival according to IMDB.

I remember when the critics in my country, gave one star to a african film called "hero".
A couple months later, the same film won the award for best movie in sundance. Critics hate Darren Aronofsky, no big deal. I thought Requiem was nice btw. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Fellini77, |

It looks too excessive to me. We'll see if there are any worthwhile/intelligent ideas behind the CGI visuals.
FWIW 'The Brown Bunny' was booed at Cannes... take that as you will. |

Actually Evan according to IMDB (which is God) Instead of using CGI, Aronofsky chose to do the special effects for the film by using micro-photography of chemical reactions on tiny petri dishes
