I see this movie a couple times every year around this time. And every year I think it gets funnier and funnier. What you think?

this movie is so great. i usually watch the movie a good five times in a row when the network formerly known as tnn does thier 24 hour marathon on christmas day. i'd go so far as to say that a christmas story is a classic.

It is definately a classic. I think the network your thinking of is TNT though. I love when they do the 24 hour marathon. The new Special Edition DVD came out also with commentary and other goodies. =D

To make the movie even more special to me, the school scenes were filmed in my city... The school was a school here (closed down now) which sucks. I consider it a Hystorical Landmark Big Grin

I remember seeing it in the theater as a kid, and I'd have to agree. It's worth a couple of watchings every year and it gets better everytime.

they play it every Christmas on cable for like 24 hours back to back....so it gets a little obnoxious, to a point where I never wanna see it again. But when I was little I liked it. Now I can't stand to watch it cause its all they play on TV round that time....along with Charlie Brown Christmas and The Grinch cartoon.

lets bring back Jingle all the Way! Wink
