I think this is one of the best films and really deserved the OScar it one. I think it has one of the mos emotional & powerfull death scenes ever on screen. I admit that I did kinda get teary eyed. I suggest every filmmaker/lover sees it.

life is beautiful is a good movie and might have deserved its best forign film oscar (cant remember what it beat). But it deffinatly did not deserve to win for best actor. Ed Norton was far better in American History X.

I agree with Cammo...Ed Norton is probably one of the finest actors out there right now if not the best. Every movie he's been in he's played his role amazingly. American History X was an outstanding movie with an even more outstanding performance from Ed Norton.

Life is Beautiful is a great foreign film. However he should have left it with that. Pinnochio did well in Italy and thats it. Roberto you are a crazy crazy man.

I remember on the Death to Smoochy commentary, Danny DeVito said Norton ate a vegetarian diet for like a month in order to understand his character better. Anyone who takes Death to Smoochy that seriously deserves an Oscar in my book.

I agree. Edward Norton was great in that movie. American History X is a great film about the subject of Nazis. I love the ending...it's totally unexpecting and artistic.

I predicted the ending of American History X before I finished it. But I still loved the movie. God, I cringe every time I see/hear that curbing scene.

So Chandler...I read on your stupid little website thing that you finished editing your film "Bottle Cap" Are you still sending it to this website? Or do you have to still edit it down to thirty minutes?

Kyle, what stupid little website are you talking about? And yes, I finally got Bottle Cap to thirty minutes and I am sending it to the site this week. The movie isn't as good as the hour version, but you still get the gist of the thing. So it will be on the site in a month or two I guess. It's my best work yet. Then again, everyone seems to get better the more movies they make.
