It was extremely genuine and it was perfect timing because I'm in the exact same position that the students are. Although it was the 2nd funniest movie of the year behind Knocked Up (opinion), it still left me with a strong connection to the characters.

Seth Rogen and Judd Apatow and the rest of that bunch have a serious gift for comedy I think. I laughed nonstop and left uplifted. I loved the way they once again managed to slip in just the right amount of seriousness to give the film some real depth. The Rob Schneiders of the world should take note.

Seriously, Rogan and Apatow create comedy gold whenever they work together. In TV they made one of my favorite TV shows in Freaks and Geeks and 2 of my favorite comedies, Knocked Up and now Superbad. 40 Year Old Virgin could be thrown up there too, I just didn't like it as much as the other two.

I'd have to agree with everything you guys said. It did have some serious messages somewhere intertwined with the LMFAO moments. Its so true to life in that way in my opinion... i remember my highschool years when even tho all these crazy funny ass things were happening to me, i can look back now at what i was going through and find life lessons that at the time to me were all fun and games
