Is it just me or was anyone else really impressed with this film.
I went in thinking it would be just your typical, stupid Adam Sandler popcorn-comedy (as the trailers led me to believe) but I was thouroughly surprised in that I got so much more out of it.
It was actually quite deep and almost brought a tear to my eye in parts. I think it is definetly Adam Sandlers best film, and I'm staggered at some of the reviews its received. It's probably the best film I've seen so far this year.
And how cool is Henry Winkler. What a legend.
Anyway, I really recommend this film to everyone.

I totally hear ya man. I went in expecting to laugh my ass, which I did for the first half. The second half, however, was quite the tear jerker. I second the recommendation.

Shakespeare says "Prose before hoes."

I finally saw this tonight and all I have to say is wow! It was a great blend of comedy and "serious drama;" entertaining but also had a very important message that was conveyed in an emotionally powerful and therefore effective way.

I like movies that have messages. I respect this one.
