| I'm sorry is this a response to something? Because it sounds like you just took a postion on absolutely nothing. What do you speaking of?

| Well, I thought it was well-written, if a little lacking in character development. It was funny though. I mean I laughed sometimes, and other times I just sort of sat there and watched it. Seeing the car chase scene was pretty cool. I wonder if they actually trashed the car like that. And that one scene with the crayons and the ultrasound equipment? Priceless. If you just want some good laughs, definitely go see this. | | | |

| You know... the one with the thing and the dude and the dog... Overall, it was entertaining, though nothing revolutionary about it. The music, though, fit the tone of the movie like a mitten.

| I think I am entirely justified in saying this was the best movie of the year. If the Academy doesn't add this one to the best picture noms, I will boycott the show, and I will contact each of the major advertisers, and tell them I'm not watching the commercials either. The whole complimentary/contrast thing with the old man and the garden was one of the most emotionally poignant scenarios ever put to film. In fact, I would go so far as to say this is the best move of all time and can not ever be surpassed.

| The best line was: "I'm gonna take this pencil, and shove it up your PEE HOLE!"

| well, the paralyzed guys was one of the flattest, unmoving characters of the movie. I mean, he never went anywhere! He never grew! He just stayed exactly where he was when we met him at the beginning of the movie. No character dynamics whatsoever.

| Well, everyone's entitled to his or her own opinion. I'll agree with the thread...it was good, but not great. | | | |

| Guys come on now. The A-Bomb going off the last second of the movie was good enough, then they top themselves by having Sly Stalone come out and sing Some Where Over The Rainbow over the credits.....I'm still crying, I was completly moved by this film.

| spoiler warning Ooohhh. See I took it totally differently. I didn't think that was meant to be the A-bomb going off, as much as a representation of the younger sister's hatred of life.
