Jason, with the way you're posting, you could very well be on your way to a crash course on message board etiquette courtesy of the Great White Ninja.

Well, since I just finally got around to seeing it, and I havent posted elsewhere, I will post my inane Matrix bable here, and justify the presence of this thread. Haha!

Some have claimed Neo is invincible. Neo isnt invincible, nor is he presented as such ( He awakes from his "Smith brawl" winded, signiffying that WAS affected by Smiths blows, and then when aquiring the Keymaker he tried to block a sword with the edge of his hand, he is cut and bleeds.) He has advatages, he is not invincible.

As for the story and such. Well, there is a format of script writting called the 3 act structure (as i am sure many of you are aware.). In the 1st act, you establish the universe your film is within, the characters and what purpose they serve, and what there objective is. In the third act, you have your resolution, your payoff. Act 2, is basically a way to get you from act 1 to act 3. As a result, it is rather anti climactic, and usually full of information and exposition.

Now consider the fact that the Wachowskis are slaves to the three act system. It would then stand to reason that a trilogy by them would be first, second, and third act. Ok, up to speed. thast why this one was "boring" It did have alot of info, it also had some sembalance of a beginning middle, and end. Pretty doggone good considering its a 2nd act. This would also explain why they pushed so hard for a the releases to be in the same year. They new people needed a pay off, because the second script isnt strong enough to hold them over.

Now, all that action. All those fights. That ubber confusing Architect speech.... whay was this there? My guess. Smoke and Mirrors. Slight of hand. The wool being pulled over our eyes. To quote Morpheus, "Designed to blind you from the truth."

"So what" right? I think it is all a way to keep us from seeing the clues they have dropped into our laps, and there were TONS.

So, any who read on will be privy to my crazy "monkey man" Matrix theory. If you are afr5aid this might spoil the final one for you (If I am right) DONT READ ON!

Here goes. Some clues I picked up on. The Architect suggests there have been "5 other "ones" That Zion has been destroyed and rebuilt 5 times (despite Morpheus speech that they have been here hudreds of years) That they (the machines) would provide so many women and children to re populate Zion, and that THEY relied on Zion for their own existence. Then there is Neo's sudden ability to stop sentinels in the real world. Why? (yeah, i know "hes the one" blah, blah Only inside the machine. Outside hes just a man.) and how about Agent Smiths ability to infiltrate the real world via a human host? What does it all add up to?
In my opinion, this. They are not unplugged. They are apart of a seperate level of the Matrix. Agent Smith said in the first (and the Architecht concurd) We created a perfect world, but your minds wouldnt accept it. What if they created "The real world" for those who couldnt accept that one?
That dosent mean all is lost. Neo was given a choice. He chose the door that saved Trinity. Every "one" before him, choose the other. If the Matrix is a program fixed on repeating itself and one go around someone changes something, then the whole outcome is altered. They have pushed "choice" way to much. They will either end it with Neo creating a new world via his choice, or they will end it that no one has a choice, and that we are all slaves regardless.

Now.. MIKES SUPER COOL FANTASY ENDING!!!
By the end of 3, they realive they are still plugged in and manage to escape from that reality. When they do really unplugg, the world looks nothing like what they know, from the Matrix or the "real world". No slim buckets, no fields of people, no machines ruling us. A bonus would be, if the whole system was run by people. If they all were enslaved by other humans, who used them to harness power or whatever. Just my crazy theories. I look forward to part 3.

I've read soooo many matrix theories lately. some were very similar to tizzy's, some more sick like that agent smith and neo are somehow the same character (in the first matrix were we thought neo killed smith, they merged together)

but my lil humble idea is, that zion and the "real" world is some kind of a second matrix were they put the "anomalies", the people who do fit into the real matrixSmile

or perhaps all of them, including neo are simply computer programms?

and who the F. is the mother of the matrix? Persephone? The orakel is definitely out...

wellSmile we will see soon
