Awesome, just awesome.

Forsaken, that link is nothing, there should be more attempts daily. Also, the article sounded fishy, if just not completely irrelevant. I mean what moron leaves so many clues to a crime he hasn't even commited yet? If he did have all the stuff the article claimed, he probably didn't stand to get a shot off in the first place. I love the Secret Service, they're one of the country's most valuable assets, and they're smart enough to take down a guy that simple. I believe in assasination attempts. If you don't have at least one a day, you're not doing your job right. Although, I believe it says something about the person trying to kill you. If it's some Joe Schmoe who thinks you're ****ing him over, you're doing something wrong, these are your people. If it's a hired hitman belonging to large corporations or foreign nations, you're probably doing something right. If I were president, I'd be on my toes, because I'd be doing such drastic things that'd warrant such a response. Yeah, so I'll expect the feds at my door any minute now.

If you like retro 80's graphics with 80's pop icons you should checkout BushGame. It's a bit too the left even for me at some points, but still, very informative, and actually relevant to this post about halfway through. It's also cool because it doesn't put all the blame on Bush, but a lot on his cabinet, too.

Right, and to clarify to whomever reads this, especially the feds. I don't want Bush dead, Cheney is a much more heinous evil.

Did you read the whole article Grimlock? It says he wanted to shoot Kerry too.

For crying out load, don't take a 30 second gander at it.

Ah, missed that part (even though I read the whole article,) seeing as it was a measly sentence and everything else said he was about killing Bush. Still, the guy's a nut, not sophisticated killer. Not much of a much for the Secret Service. Especially when they have his liscence plate number.

Gotcha. But remember, license plate won't matter if he drove the car into the ocean or something. I'll wager they will have him in less then a week.

Now, I got a lot of catching up to do, so here I go!

Nota:
Did I say we caught Osama? No. I'm saying that Afghanistan is secure and now all that is happening is a long man hunt. It's very hard to track down a man who is probably hiding in a different cave every week. Try it sometime.
We are accountable for Civillian Casualties, but they happen in EVERY SINGLE WAR! You think only Nazi's were killed going into Germany? You think only Commies were killed going into N. Korea? Civillian casualties are a given. We are accountable, but we can't keep kicking ourselves every time soneone gets caught in the cross fire. Get the job done!
No Bush, no Iraq war? Hm, interesting, because John Kerry said that he still would have gone to Iraq even with the knowledge he has today. I suggest you consider that.
Threat is to weak. We are under a higher threat, an immediate threat, where any minute somthing might get through. Yes, we've always been under threat, but to the same degree as the past three years.
No one has approached me with that stance on gun control. A new perspective, and I will reconsider my postion and let you know my decision.
Saddam may be minor league, but he is the testing ground. If we can take on Iraq successfully, then we go on to the next hardest one. And notice how I didn't say WMD's illegally, but weapons. He did have missiles that went farther then they were supposed to. They could strike two countries over.
And how else to you take on a group of people whos soul intent is to kill? Give 'em a hug so they can stab you in the back?
Here's an illustration that someone tried to catch me in:
Girl: If someone said they were goign to punch you, would you go punch them first?
Me: No I would get someone of authority to take control of the situation.
Girl: all right, what if someone said they were going to stab you, would you go stab them.
Me: No, I would go punch them.

My point is, someone can recover from a punch more easily then a knife.
9/11 (just want to make sure we're clear, not talking about Saddam, terrorist linkage right now), 9/11 was a stab. So we go punch Afghanistan.
Then, Iraq has been a threat for years saying that they want to stab western civilization. So we go punch them and knock him and his country in line.

Why has Iraq been so hard to get under control? Why are their rebels, terrorists, and insurgents running amock through the country? Because they do not want our freedom to be available to the people they once controlled. They know, that if we are successful in Iraq, that middle eastern and all other countries living under dictatorship don't have to take that crap any more.
They will realize that there are poeple out there who want to help them gain freedom.
The Iraqi people want us there. The people are glad we have set them free. not glad, ecstatic. If you were the Iraqi on the street and you saw an American or British or any other liberator walk down the street, would you not say thank you? Would you not be overjoyed that finally, you have the right to actually choose your leader?
Put yourself in their shoes, that's what I ahve done, and that's why I am for the Iraqi war. And if ever my country gives the call to have me go fight to gain or defend someone else's freedoms, I will gladly go.
