The Shortie Awards: Student Film and News Festival is the premiere film festival for students ages 7 to 18 and their teachers! The call for entries deadline is April 3, 2009. The Shortie Awards is FREE to enter. Films may be no longer than 10 minutes. Entry Categories are: Live Action, Animation and Daily Broadcast News Program. Age Categories are: 7-10, 11-14, 15-18 and K-12 Teacher Created. Visit http://www.shortie.org for the entry form and guidelines.
