The inaugural Seven Day Film Festival & Filmmaking Competition will be held in San Francisco in August. Teams will have seven days (August 2-9) to write, shoot, and edit a 7-15 minute short.

Following the competition, all films will be screened as part of the festival at the Ninth Street Independent Film Center (August 22-23), and prizes will be awarded for “Best Film” and other categories.

Wow - this is going to be really cool! I will be in San Francisco that weekend and can't wait to see some of the films and the winners. The website didn't say how much tickets are but we'll check it out once we are there!
