Rainforest Partnership is an international nonprofit organization that was started in Austin 3 years ago. They focus on finding sustainable economic alternatives to deforestation in rainforest communities in South America. They host a film festival every year to raise awareness of rainforest issues and to help gain support for their mission. There is a 3-minute film challenge that will be screened live on the internet and at the local film festival, where filmmakers from around the world submit entries pursuant to this year's theme "Breath of the Planet." They have a really great line up of judges, so y'all check out the below information if you are interested in submitting!
Who should enter? Everyone- from people who've never made a film in their lives to professional filmmakers are encouraged to submit short 30 second to 3 minute films that best express your interpretation of this year's theme: Breath of the Planet.
