As you probably know, there's as new platform for European student
film called Breaking Ground (BG).
A platform? Yes! because BG isn't just one film festival, one
?happening?. BG collects, archives, programmes and screens the best
student films for a number of events (events that are set up by BG
itself, events by partner organisations and last but not least BG's
website -
www.breakingground.eu) for all the festivals BG participates
in please look at our website, but for now the most important ones and
their entry deadlines:
- For Go Short, International Short Film Festival, Nijmegen (The
Netherlands) 17-21 March 2010, we?re looking for European student
shorts, max. length 40 minutes, all genres, not older than 1 year.
Deadline September 15.
- For our website and archive we accept all European student films
that have been made over the last 5 years, all genres and lengths
allowed.
- In April 2010 the international festival for student film Cinestud
will take place again in Amsterdam. All European student films
allowed. Deadline October 1.
- For recurring screenings on the Dutch digital television channel for
documentaries ?Holland Doc? we are specifically looking for European
student documentary films, that have been made over the last 5 years
No deadline, continuous admissions.
