Early Deadline, July 1st 2010 Entry Fees: Student $25/Short $30/Feature $35

BOULDER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - Voted one of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals by MovieMaker Magazine (Summer 2009).

Our big idea? Combine low entry fees with generous filmmaker hospitality, and open our festival to gifted film artists worldwide. This principle has made the Boulder International Film Festival (BIFF) into one of the most influential young film festivals in the U.S., with an extraordinary number of new-but-unknown feature films, documentaries, and shorts that have gone on from early screenings at BIFF to significant box-office success and multiple Oscar nominations. Over 16,000 filmmakers, national media, special guests and film enthusiasts attended the four-day BIFF 2010.

BIFF has been proud to host and celebrate some of film's most talented artists, including Oscar-nominated actor Alec Baldwin at BIFF 2010 (three weeks before he hosted the Academy Awards), Emmy Award-winning actress Blythe Danner, legendary comedian Chevy Chase, and writer/filmmaker Chris Gore (The Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide), along with many other independent filmmakers, directors, producers and stars including directors Michael and Mark Polish, Golden Globe nominated actress Maria Bello, writer John August, and Academy-Award nominee Eric Roberts, and Patrick Warburton [Seinfeld]).

We strongly encourage you to accompany your film to our festival. Upon acceptance, we assign a filmmaker liaison to each filmmaker in the Festival and house you at a luxurious hotel, just a few blocks from our main venue - the historic 850-seat Boulder Theater in downtown Boulder. There's great free food, great hospitality, a filmmaker bar, skiing 45 minutes from Boulder, and fantastic parties every night. All events, parties, films, and workshops are located within a 4-block radius of your hotel on the legendary Pearl Street Mall. Boulder is beautiful, fun and easy-to-get-to; and you'll have a great time at our forums and parties where you'll get a chance to rub egos with other accomplished filmmakers and stars. BIFF 2011 is February 17-20.

Submit today, youll love it here. www.biff1.com
