While dirt gives you comfort (i am full aware it's a metaphor), perhaps Islam gives others comfort. The trick is to respect the comfort and not the label. The trouble comes when you disrespect the other label and try to peel it off.

i dont udnerstand this whole comfort thing and people afraid of death. I dont get comfort thinking i might go somewhere else...what makes me know this isnt important, or that if a God is around he doesnt care, is look around at our world. There is hope, tthere is possibility for change, but the dirt is falling on us everyday and there is horrible **** out there. So horrible and chaotic you KNOW that there is no God or anything that is going to stop the chaos, cause it should stop, but it cant. I hear people say "well you gotta struggle" and thats BS cause there's NO reason that some people got dirt all over em. And we all got dirt on us. but why are some people completely disabled? Especialyl healthy people? Why does my girlfriend have an autistic daughter she has to keep an eye on constantly? You th ink thats a struggle or challenging and its gonna get anywhere? No, there is hope, but its not gonna be cause God gives way and lets it get easier. Why are some people born with no brain? Why are some people hit by cars? why do my balls hurt all the time cause that bastard in highshool decided to grab them and twist them and permeanently disable me for life to where I ccant walk around without pain shooting up my abs? Its not fair, I dont want it to be fair, but dont go telling me religion is going to bring comfort when I'm dead, cause far as I can tell its NOT gonna be comfortable. EVER. there is love but its not gonna heal anything, it can only make you continue to live.

the physical feeling of comfort, to remain healthy, requires you eat meals everyday to maintain your brain chemicals, to hope they continue to work right. you took health class didnt you?

everything else isnt comfort, its illusion. in that illusion you find Love.

so love and food.

money isnt real either but in this world they make it real.

No one's saying you have to accept it for yourself, just know that for some people it works.

You can curse gravity as well but if you drop a rock on your foot it's going to f-ing hurt. The fact is people find comfort in religion wheter that makes you angry or not.

have you seen "Jesus Camp", Red? This was probably THE scariest film I have ever seen. Born again church goers...LITTLE kids being born again, falling on the floor looking like they are having seizures.

I often associate Religions with cults or VAMPIRES. Those kids werent ahving a spirutual experience from God, they were being raped by the dead souls who pretend they know where they are sending these children. Right into the same stiff coffins as themselves.
