The 2004 Muskegon Film Festival
is now accepting submissions for its
College Film Competition
February 6 & 7, 2004
Entry Deadline: November 30, 2003

Features — Shorts — Documentaries — Animation





This year’s competition is an open forum for college students to display their talent, imagination, and soul. All submissions will be reviewed.

This is your chance to shine and show the world what you are made of.
Rules:
You must be a college student with a self-made film or video.
(That is it.)

How about an entry fee of $0.
Zero. Nothing. Free.

College Films Eligibility


Films must be available on either of the following formats for presentation: 35mm, 16mm, Beta SP or DVD. Video transfers (1/2” NTSC VHS) or DVD copies of films must be submitted for preview purposes.



Guidelines


Ø Productions from 2002 and 2003 may be submitted, with the exception of those works previously submitted to the MFF.

Ø Do not submit industrial or instructional works.

Ø All films must be submitted on ½” VHS (NTSC system only) or DVD for consideration by the Selection Committee.

Ø All films submitted must be available in only 35mm, 16mm, Beta SP or DVD for presentation.

Ø A completed entry form must accompany each entry. Entry forms are availible at www.muskegonfilmfestival.com

Ø Videos and DVDs submitted will not be returned, except under extreme circumstances. A $10 fee is needed for the return of the submission after the festival.

Ø Films selected for the 3rd MFF will be announced no later than December 31, 2003.

Ø Prints or videos for presentation at the 3rd MFF must arrive in Muskegon no later than February 1, 2004.

Ø Please notify us by mail or email of any address changes.



Entry Checklist



Please send the following materials in a single package. No entry will be processed without all materials.



ü • ½” VHS videotape (NTSC system only) or DVD of film.



ü • Completed entry form. Entry form is availible at www.muskegonfilmfestival.com



ü • Brief description or synopsis of film.
