Guys this is a message for heads up!! There are 2 film festivals called the London Independent Film Festival, and the Cannes Independent Film festival, both are run by the same people.

The Cannes Independent Film Festival is a festival that uses misleading publicity to any filmmaker, telling you that your film is gonna be exhibited in the March du films, and other doubtfull stuff... Be carefull with this festival. You might get scammed.

The London Independent Film Festival is run as I said by the same poeple as the CIFF so expect anything, also they normally never show any non BRITISH film of any kind, so beware they sell themselfs as very international, but they are not. They want the money that comes from all over the place and will not exhibit you unless you are british, so beware.

Remember always to make a deep research on each film festival before submitting. They alwyas sell themselfs as super cool, friendly, interested in new film makers, but most of them are not, they use this publicity to gather more money from subitions, remember submiters are their real clients.
