To all fans of the independent and low budget short film! We call your attention to the CALL FOR ENTRIES for the 7th Low & No Budget Short Film Festival ClipAward!

Send us your short features, animations, trash movies, documentaries, music videos, etc. We bring everything on screen that is freaky, crafty, slick, hard-boiled, and witty! Everything is allowed - as long as it's short and cheap!

As a pure low & no budget short film festival, ClipAward exclusively addresses independent filmmakers whose films were neither shot within the scope of media studies* nor produced with the financial support of film funds .
*That does not mean that film students are excluded from the application, as long as the shorts were not produced within the infrastructure of the film school (e.g. as a seminar work).

THE CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
1. Productions costs: max. EUR 50 per minute in the NO BUDGET SECTION and max. EUR 500 per minute in the LOW BUDGET SECTION
2. the maximum length is 15 minutes.
3. the shorts have to be subtitled in German or English.

Entry deadline is February 10th, 2012.
The festival takes place from March 16th to 18th, 2012 in the splendid baroque palace of Mannheim, Germany.

Over 300 shorts from Germany, Europe and from all over the world reached us in Mannheim so far. This is amazing, we are completely thrilled! The good thing is – it’s not the end! The entry deadline was postponed:

New entry deadline for your submissions: March 29th.
New date for the 7th ClipAward Short Film Festival: May 25-27th.
