I had posted this in an earlier topic:

Replica Guns

I have bought a couple over the years, but have bookmarked several sites that sell them on the web.

Some guns are non-firing. Some guns fire blanks, but have the barrels blocked for safety, while other guns are hard rubber look-a-likes. Prices range from around $20 and up.

Hope these links help.

http://shop.store.yahoo.com/gun-sword/ - non-firing replicas

http://www.shopallenbeys.com/replica-blank-firing-military-police-western-guns.html - blank firing guns

http://www.propguns.com/store/merchant.ihtml?id=76&step=2 - rubber look-a-likes

http://www.replicashop.com/directory/cgi/directory.pl?category=49 - A directory for Replica Guns

[end insert]

Hope it helps.

Yeah Rice, your better off grabbing a few airsofts, and drawing the muczzle flashes in post. Your not going to find blank firing guns that give you flash, just some smoke and alot of noise, niethere of which you need. Gas airsofts have realistic blowback. You can just draw in the muzzle flashes in post, even shells discharging if need be. See "The Lost Patrol" all those were drawn in post. Its just you can buy twice as many guns, and still make a sweet shoot.

Go to jungletoy.com for some GREAT prices for airsoft guns. You can get Desert Eagles for under thirty dollars! Great prices and a good selection. And like Tizzy said, just do muzzle flashes post production.

And don't you need a permit or some shi t to fire a "blank firing" gun in public? I'm sure you could get away with it in a forest area, but I don't know about in a residential home...neighbors might call cops after hearing gunshots.
