In order to help service all of the members of the site better I've made the Date of Birth and Gender required fields in one's profile.

THIS INFORMATION IS COMPLETELY PRIVATE.

The only person who has access to the info is myself.

The main reason for making the info required is that I'm curious find out the average age of everyone who is a member of the forums and the site.

I appologize for the inconvenience of updating the profile - it even had me do it as I didn't have that information in the system.

If anyone has a SERIOUS problem with me requiring this information, please let me know, and I can always make it optional again. I just thought that it would be neat to get an idea for the age and gender of everyone who uses the forums.
