I've posted the trailer for the DVD here:

Studentfilms.com Contest 2005 DVD Trailer

If this doesn't get you pumped up for it, I don't know what will. Smile

For everyone who participated in the contest, please get the release forms in as soon as possible so that we can start moving on this thing. It's going to be great!

nice trailer!

Are you testing a new encoding process for the site? This trailer is 3x the bitrate of the normal 'broadband version' movies. I think that's great!

A little testing yeah - it is only 45 seconds long so it's easy to boost the bitrate. Smile

For the longer films I really couldn't do it this high - but for 45 seconds I figured I'd give it a try.

I'm always tweaking. Smile The "normal" new bitrate probably won't be this high. The file sizes will just get way too huge and kill the server bandwidth.
