Just wondering how many Studentfilms.com-ers are interested in submitting films to this summer's contest - "Lost and Found"?

I hope to be able to get more submissions than last year's 16 films. This year's theme is a pretty good one.

The second I get my camera (hopefully sometime over the weekend or next week) I'm going to start filming my entry. I'm definately entering.

I'm game for sure Chris. Going to put the DVX to an actual scripted movie this time. What camera are you getting broco? (Don't mean to hi-jack the thread, just wondering)

Oh and I agree. I hope to see a lot more entries this year.

I really really really want to enter... BUT I'm not sure if I have time. I've got an insanely complicated stop-motion project going, and it's likely to take all of my time. We'll see. I REALLY want to enter.

I'll be entering a little later in the summer, I've got some projects that have been sorta waiting in line for a while that i want to finish first. Plus I'm still thinking about the story.

I'm planning on entering, jst as soon as I finish some other projects (get started ) and stop coming up with weird ideas.

I was planning on entering until the submission fee turned out to be $20. It's a terrific idea, and I can't wait to see what comes out of it from all of you, but that's too much for me to spend right now.

I should be entering, as long as I have the time (with a couple of projects needing my attention) that is of course if I can think of a good idea with lost and found...

Definitely. I haven't started a script, but I do have my friends who are willing to act and have good ideas so probably.

I think I'm in, though "Lost and Found" is more specific than last year's "Road," and I find my freedom limited. Even if I stray from the theme and scrap the contest, I will still try to submit a short to the site sometime in the next couple of months.

Well - lost and found is still pretty broad. You don't need to think of it like lost and found items. Anything could be lost and found.

I imagine there will be lots of metaphorical uses of the theme, probably more so than the literal form. I'm planning on a submission as well.

I'm an old man of 46, but I'm putting together a team of 6th and 7th graders to see what they can come up with. I can't promise anything...

well seeing as how i forgot my fricken name and passward cause ive been so damn busy (hense 1 post) i for shure will enter only if the tv studio where i edit and get cameras from dosnt shutdown first

I think I might enter it. Got to find a camera to use first, but I've got a great story if I can just get in on paper.
