Welcome to the new Studentfilms.com!

The old version of Studentfilms.com was running on code from 2001 - it was time for a change.

It is now free to submit your film to the site by simply posting a link to your Vimeo or Youtube film in the Short Films Forum .

Reviews will now be handled by simply replying to the original post.

The old films are still available here and will be for the first couple of months of 2010.

If you've submitted a film in the past year and would like a refund of your hosting fee, please send me an e-mail and I will gladly send you a refund check.

The old site was getting very hard to maintain and keep up to date. We were trying many different ways to update it, but in the end I decided that the forums are probably the best way to continue the main site as all of the other options were too expensive or time consuming.

I love the new feature where it tells you who last commented on threads on the right, it makes it so much easier!

I agree, once again the update is nice!
