Hmmm....Maybe I can use that pic. It is pretty cool. It should be able to become greyscale.

But - a drawing would be cool too.

This is what it would look like Grayscaled. This is only 24k in size, so the final image would be a little darker but stronger in contrast.

That looks great. Did you blur the hands in Photoshop? How is it non blurred? Or the reverse blurred? Just to try things out.

Go ahead and e-mail me the pic. Smile

I'll check with the t-shirt people that I use if they can use pics like this.

Do people like this t-shirt design? Would it be something people would buy and wear?

If that's what would be on the back of the shirt, I'd wear it.

That barcode one is cool. However I'd make sure you get the sites name right first, studentflim s.com

Printed out 8 different filmstrips, this one I think is the best, but if you have a favourite font then say and let me know.

Avant,

I think I'm going with the design of the girl with her hands in front of her that was posted above. I do appreceate all of your designs and your input, however.

I'm thinking of having Studentfilms.com on the front and the picture on the back with perhaps the URL beneath it.

Or should I put the "If you make a film and no one sees it, does it make a sound?" in small font beneath the picture as well? I'm not sure that will fit though.

I love nearertonever's picture of the girl, i'd buy it for that alone, all of my designs are just for the front of the tee, the 'studentfilms.com' logo. I was just hoping that maybe one of them would be cool enough to be printed on the front i.e.- the filmstrip one above? Wink

The second line could fit under the girl if you cut it up into 3 lines.
If you make a film
and no one sees it,
does it make a sound?

Perhaps. I might just keep it simple text on the front. Also, it's going to be a white shirt, not black.

I thought it was going to be black as well... You know, since the site's background is black, and all...

Nope. The plan for this one was white.

I was also tossing around the idea of doing away with the black background for the next build of the site.

That's what the last design was made for, a white t-shirt. Well this was all a good exercise to get to grips with Illustrator, since I've only just started using it. Thanks for the hype.

I know I'm jumping in real liate, but can we stick with the black shirt/ black background? I don't know what everyone else thinks, but I like it a whole lot better. Reading white on black is easier on the eyes. Smile

Well the original black shirt will always be for sale.

As for the black background on the site, I've heard people say the exact opposite thing. That white on black bg is hard on the eyes. Wink

I like the black background/white text too, but if it's gotta be changed then so be it. I haven't been on the site very long, but I have browsed it for quite some time and I like the layout. Change is always welcome, as long as it's a good one Wink

As for the shirts, black is usually preferred, by me anyway and I think a few others. I seem to remember that white is easier or cheaper to get though, so if that's the reason go for it. I think if you do go with the white shirts you might need something more appealing in the front, such as Avant's last filmstrip submission. That on the front, with the girl on the back would be pretty awesome.

Well the original black shirt will still be for sale. I think this design, with the pic will go better on a white shirt. Although I can do a test on a black one as well.

This is just a new design that will be sold in addition to the original t-shirt design.
