I have been accepted into these Undergraduate Programs: Emerson for screenwriting, LMU for screenwriting, BU for film production, and University of Miami for film production/ screenwriting. I am having a tough time deciding where to go next year. Can anyone offer any advice or tell me the pros and cons for each of the programs. Thanks

I was accepted at Emerson and BU as well but for Film Production for both schools. Ive decided to go to Emerson. Emerson was always number 1 for me so i didnt have a hard time deciding. All those schools have great programs the question is specifically which one do u want to do?

Screenwriting, ive heard, is a new new major at Emerson. So im not sure if thats a pro or con.

A friend of mine who goes to BU from film production doesnt really like it because the first few years its not hands-on and he hasnt done a lot of work. But on the other-hand, i have heard a lot of good things about the program.

In general they are all respected schools in the film industry.

it all comes down to do u want to do film production or screenwriting? once u decide that than its set cus all of those programs are good and offer major opportunities...
(also u have to consider location)...im from miami and i would never stay down here to go to school, Boston for me is a much better choice...
