I applied to Emerson College Film School for regular decision in January. As school decisions are being sent out, I am getting exceedingly nervous about my application. I was just curious to hear how difficult Emerson's Film School was to get into from those who have already been accepted.

A short version of my resume/application:
SAT: 1860
SAT IIs: 660 (Eng. Lit.) and 600 (US History)
Cumulative H.S. GPA: 3.81 (w/o senior year grades)
Cumulative H.S. GPA: 3.9 (w/ senior year grades)
Senior Year (First Semester) GPA: 4.16
AP Classes: AP European History, AP US History, AP American Literature, AP English Language and Composition, AP Government and AP Statistics
Sports: Two years on Varsity Dance Team; Captain of team senior year
Clubs/Organizations: Editor of school newspaper (senior year), treasurer of Dance and Environmental Club (senior year), involvement in French Club (4 years) and Model United Nations Club (senior year).
Community Service: Two years of volunteer Christmas Dinners for needy families
Jobs: Summer internship at a law firm for three months
Awards: French Overall Achievement Award (2007), Principal's Distinguished Honor Roll (2005, 2007, 2008).

I am stressing out because I know my film resume (I have not been very involved with anything formal regarding film) and my screenplay were not stellar. I am just curious about my chances of getting into the film school based more on my academic record than my film resume.

Any opinions?

Your academic credentials are better than mine were (my strengths were in my work experience and portfolio). However, Emerson has become far more selective since when I applied, so they may place more emphasis on academics now. I think you have pretty good chances.
