Which one is a better college major to write, produce, direct and act in independent films, English Literature or Broadcast Journalism?? Thank you very much indeed.

I would probably recommend english if anything. Writing is necessary to make a film and script, however broadcast journalism is much different (think your local news network). While that may provide for some technical skills, those are always things you can learn later. If your college has its own television station you could take english classes and possibly work there as well. Being a great writer and telling a story is essentially the same thing as being a filmmaker, later the technical aspect will guide your story-telling ability. Hope this helped!
