hey everybody
i'll be taking film studies in a london university this year.
i was wondering whats the average amount of weekly hours of film studies? i heard about a guy who was very shocked to find out he only had 10 hours a week... is this average?

That could be right (I'm assuming that "hours" for you are equivalent to "units" for us). You have to remember that there's only so much they can teach you in a classroom. Writing, casting, shooting, editing, sound, etc., will all be done on your own time outside of assigned classroom time.

Most schools will also want you to complete some sort of a general education pattern as well (math, humanities, arts, sciences, foreign language, etc.). These courses will probably add a few more hours to each of your terms. I'm not sure about the U.K., but that's how it works in the U.S.
